    Version 2.0.1 (Screencast Recorder 2.0.1) / Build 10:20:05 (957946). Unfortunately, it seems Screencast piggybacks on other Autodesk loaders- loading on startup, independent of a discrete startup entry. It stays on until you quit the program using the system tray icon. I'm using Windows right now and it definitely turns on the camera light every time it opens.

    I'll have to check on Mac to see if it turns on the camera light. When you start Screencast, are you seeing the Camera turning on? Also can you tell me what version of Screencast Recorder you are using?

    Also Screencast doesn't use the Camera on your system. Is this something that you are seeing both on Windows and Mac? Screencast Recorder shouldn't be doing anything, when it is just running in the background and when you are not recording.
